Welcome to the Genisys wiki! The Genisys project is a DevOps configuration platform designed to handle the configuration of servers suitable for network (PXE) booting and optionally configure any number of booted "client" machines. Genisys requires one server operating as a network router, see the Network Configuration article for more information about the infrastructure setup.

Configuring the Genisys server (refered to throughout the documentation as the "host") is done through a combination of a YAML configuration file, described in the Config File article, and environment variables, described in the Environment Variables article. The Genisys project is tested on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and you can find instructions for configuring it for use in the article about Runtime Dependencies.
