Added:

  • Added a Patchouli-powered book, crafted with a book + an awkward potion
  • Added optional integration with Origins
  • Added vampire hunters, which spawn:
    • Randomly, similarly to pillagers
    • With a random chance if a vampire kills something through feeding
    • When a vampire feeds on an awake villager
  • Added a cooldown for the dash ability
  • Added gamerules to configure certain aspects of the game:
    • Whether vampires burn in daylight
    • How long the feeding cooldown is
    • How long the dash cooldown is
    • What the chance is for vampire hunters to notice vampires killing something through feeding
  • Added more entities to blood source tags

Balance tweaks:

  • Changed the blood level curve from a quadratic curve to sine curve: blue = old, green = new: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/668183132779970609/739877275025276978/unknown.png
  • Made vampires always stay above 0 health if above 0 blood
  • Made blood not reduce passively when health below 0
  • Removed blood loss when absorbing damage
  • Changed default feeding cooldown from 6000 ticks to 10
  • Rebalanced sunlight sickness
  • Reduced damage multiplier from vampire-effective weapons
  • Changed default dash key to X
  • Removed debuffs from creative vampires

Fixed:

  • Fixed villagers waking up when feeding on them while asleep
  • Fixed mobs not seeing vampires with 0 health
  • Fixed mobs with vampire-effective weapons not having any effect
  • Fixed vampire status effects only lasting a tick
  • Fixed invisibility having amplifier II
  • Fixed vampiric strength extra hearts not filling
  • Fixed spawning without any blood
  • Fixed some missing lang entries
  • Fixed dying multiple times in a row
  • Fixed being able to wake up villagers when in feeding cooldown
  • Fixed injectors not changing item when killing you
