Recommended, but not required:

• picom (required for the alpha patch to work)

Installation

cd into the st folder, and then run sudo make clean install.

Patches applied:

• gruvbox colorscheme - The best colorscheme, obviously
• anysize - Allows st to be transformed freely
• alpha - Shows a translucent background when used w/ a compositor
• scrollback - Implements scrollback functionality. Bound to Shift+PgUp/PgDn
• blinking cursor - Self-explanatory. Can be disabled in config.h.
