Pull metadata from external repos

For example, if specimens are already registered in Biosamples, fetch metadata from there. Should also be able to display diffs from origin once metadata have changed.

Allow multiple users in a project

Can use the same Grouper functionality as CyVerse

Harvest metadata

We should consider testing this protocol http://www.openarchives.org/OAI/openarchivesprotocol.html It is for harvesting metadata from open repositories, we may be able to get the metadata of an object, which would facilitate registration. This, beyond the other services. Maybe we can add this to the proof of concept or at least acknowledge this.

Look at Browndog and Clouder for metadata extraction.
