Also releases 0.5.8 to validate independently of future PR release

Thanks @sriv - this will release the unreleased changes in #210 - hope that's fine and backward compat (with older Gauge versions)?

Otherwise I should bump to 0.6.0 I guess.

#210 is a new addition and should not break backward compatibility I believe
