All game files will be developed using Digipen's Zero Engine. All code, whether zilch used in the Zero Engine or markdown used for the Github should conform to the Code Guide. All art files should be saved out as .png and editable in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. Animations and movies should be made using either Adobe Flash or Adobe After Effects. All Adobe files should be at least CS5 compatible.
Editor preferences are available in the editor config for easy use in common text editors. Read more and download plugins at Editor Config. I prefer to use Sublime Text 3, but there are also great editors like Light Table or Brackets.
Keep track of development and Demon Parasol news.

For transparency and insight into our release cycle, and for striving to maintain backward compatibility, Demon Parasol will be maintained under the Semantic Versioning guidelines as much as possible.
Releases will be numbered with the following format:
<major>.<minor>.<patch>
- Breaking backward compatibility bumps the major (and resets the minor and patch)
- New additions without breaking backward compatibility bumps the minor (and resets the patch)
- Bug fixes and misc changes bumps the patch
