This package has the function stemplot
which is used to generate
simple stemplots in Julia.
Draws a stem leaf plot of the given vector v
.
stemplot(v)
function stemplot(v::AbstractVector;
scale=10,
divider::AbstractString="|",
padchar::AbstractString=" "
)
-v
: Vector for which the stem leaf plot should be computed
-scale
: Set scale of plot. Default = 10. Scale is changed via orders of
magnitude common values are ".1","1"."10".
-divider
: Symbol for break between stem and leaf. Default = "|"
-padchar
: Character(s) to separate stems, leaves and dividers. Default = " "

- Create type for stemplot so that it can be updated/refreshed with
stemplot!()
- Add
trim::Bool
parameter - round down by basescale
to reduce digits - Create method for back-to-back stem plots which can be useful for comparing distributions:
julia> stemplot(dataset1, dataset2)
99832 | 0 | 12339
210 | 1 | 0012334
| 2 | 89
6600 | 3 | 00136
