Xiaomi smart plugs not working correctly

This applies for Xiaomi smart plugs ZNCZ04LM (lumi.plug.mmeu01) and SP-EUC01 (lumi.plug.maeu01). It is mandatory that RaspBee/ConBee I fw 0x26400500 (or higher) or RaspBee/ConBeeII fw 0x266f0700 (or higher) is installed.

Both should look like this from a deCONZ GUI perspective:

If they don't, the following is recommended:

  • Update the device firmware Activate the OTA update plugin under plugins (in the menu bar), select the device and then select OTA update pane (bottom left). Then press the query button until you get some result. Once vendor, image and version are queried, select the downloaded firmware file and press update (if the update doesn't already start automatically).

  • Delete the node in deCONZ GUI (right click on the node), reset and re-pair the device

If the devices still do not look like illustrated at the very top after firmware update (or if they already run on the referenced firmware), reset and re-pair it again. This can happen, if the so called node descriptor reponse from the coordinator is not received at all or too late.
