Figure 3 would benefit from greater explanation as to how learners are self-assessing their own proficiency as a percent score.

2) Figure 1 presents what is ultimately a relatively simple point, but the figure itself winds up being challenging to parse. I'm not sure a figure is even really necessary.

The main issue is that the results, in addition to be only declarative, remain rather vague: For Figure 4, it would be good to have information about how results depend on the background of participants or whether the results depend on lessons for example (i.e. +/- TDA).
