Adds “Reset” button plus useful tweaks to UI
This release adds a “reset” button and tweaks the UI for a slightly simpler, faster experience.
Installation
- Download and unzip this release. This will change it to a folder called
dist
(short for "distribution"). - Move the folder into a permanent location (don't keep it in your downloads folder, where you might delete it).
- Go to
chrome://extensions
in Chrome browser - Turn on "Developer Mode" with the toggle in the top-right corner
- Click "Load unpacked" and navigate to the dist folder of the repo you cloned – alternatively, you can just drag-n-drop the dist folder into the extensions page.
Type-X: work-in-progress developer mode Chrome extension
We're still working through a few user-experience and performance issues, but Type-X is already a super handy tool!
This version includes the latest betas of Recursive, a variable font family for code & UI. Of course, the real fun of Type-X is using or loading your own fonts, to test fonts across the web!
