What is Zebra ?

The Zambia National Public Health Institute (ZNPHI) has successfully implemented surveillance systems for disease monitoring, however the absence of a cohesive platform hinders effective collaboration among leadership, surveillance, emergency response, communications, and monitoring & evaluation (M&E) teams. This fragmentation prevents accountability in decision-making and actions taken during public health events. ZNPHI seeks a solution through the implementation of an Event Management System (EMS) to enhance and complement existing surveillance processes. This system has being developed by EyeSeeTea as ZEBRA – Zambia Emergency Bridge for Response Application.
