What you expect to be happening.
On Android, I expect ZeroTier to only route dns queries matching the search domain specified
What is actually happening?
On Android only, ZeroTier is routing all dns traffic to the specified dns server, not just the ones matching the search domain.
Any steps to reproduce the error.
Install the ZeroTier app on Android, connect to a network setup with a search domain dns and set the app to use the network dns settings. Monitor dns requests on the specified dns server, you'll see all traffic routed through that server. If you shutdown the dns server while Android is connected to ZeroTier, you'll no longer have any internet access on the Android device.
What operating system and ZeroTier version. Please try the latest ZeroTier release.
Android 15 on Pixel 6a, ZeroTier Android app reports it is version 1.14.0-2
Let me know if you need anything else to diagnose.

I am hosting it privatly, but it works on other devices. Can confirm my dns server isnt even hit with any requests.
Tailscale's magic dns does work, however.
All our inventory management devices run android so we're thrown off by this haha
Edit: Im actually having it where it isnt routing any traffic to the DNS server, which is what I thought this issue was before. It just completely ignores my dns server.
