When I began to create my project called Yuna AI (which in Japanese stands for kindness), my initial goal was to develop a virtual assistant that was more than just a plain prescripted assistant like Siri or Alexa. Instead, I aimed to create a virtual companion that could serve as a virtual girlfriend or a so-called waifu that ran solely on your machine and prioritized using your data locally and privately. This effort inspired me to make this project. Although I understand your point about such an SDK, for now, I'm looking towards creating an artificial general intelligence that can run locally. In the future, we can add a possibility to fine-tune or make a personality card for your AI without needing a powerful graphics card. Just so you know, we're currently in the early stages of development. However, you can still access it running locally for now. Global previews will be soon. Also, I plan to integrate multimodal capabilities with such cool stuff as video calls, image processing, etc. |

I'm glad you enjoyed my video "The Mystery of AI Consciences." One of the main challenges facing AI today is its need for more consciousness and initiative. For instance, unlike real people, an AI won't initiate a conversation with you unless prompted. To address this, I'm working on a mechanism that can give AI consciousness programmatically. While it may be possible to create a biological solution for it in the future, my focus now is creating a virtual companion (a waifu) that can think and talk independently. This could be especially useful for individuals who are struggling with depression or a lack of motivation, as the AI could provide some much-needed encouragement. Because if you don't have the strength to talk to her, she must be able to push you forward! Rest assured, I aim not to make this technology available for military or political purposes. I wanna make it more human-like! That's all. Currently, it's just a transformer prediction model, which is different from what I said there, so don't be too scared. |
