1.8.0-alpha3

The third alpha release in the 1.8 Series of Xibo, codenamed "Tempel". This should NOT BE USED IN PRODUCTION.

This release contains significant changes from 1.7 Series and the release notes should be read and understood before trying the release.

You can upgrade to this release from 1.7.0 or later, but please do this on a test system as this is alpha software.

Player Software

The 1.8.0-alpha3 Windows Player and Xibo for Android 1.7 R58 or later can be used with this release.

Release Update

We've released an updated tar.gz file which contains some post release fixes - the old release files have been removed.

1.7.6

This release is a bug fix release for the 1.7 stable series. If you are upgrading from 1.4 or 1.6 please refer to the 1.7.0 release for a detailed list of changes.

The release is available for new installations only at the current time. Subsequent releases in this series will include functionality to update from earlier versions of the software.
