Can't find or modify ssb-interop.js on Ubuntu 18.04 #68
Comments
I didn't use the snap, but: {0}:/home/robert/RLH-Env/Slack>ls -la /usr/lib/slack/resources/app.asar.unpacked/src/static/ssb-interop.js What do you get with "find / -iname ssb-interop.js -ls" ? |
it seems that these files are temporary. and I must to find another main source |
Any joy on this @RodriAn ? |
@Oregand I uninstalled Slack and installed it again without snap. I could find ssb-interop.js and was able to apply the dark scheme. but the central window still had a white background. and I was forced to remove the dark scheme. so sorry |
Thats no problem, I tried the same steps and ended up with a similar result and so hand to uninstall the theme too. More trial and error is needed. Thank you so much for getting back to me! |
I just noticed that in the more recent update of Slack on Mac, this file doesn't exist any longer. So the workaround of appending a eventlistener at the bottom of ssb-interop.js file is no longer valid. Meantime, Slack just released the dark mode officially supported versions of iOS and Andriod, saying MacOS version for it will come later. |
I have the same problem @stantonxu from Linux with Slack v4.0.0 |
I think, that I must modify another source in Ubuntu 18.04.
