Ethers' encodeEventLog equivalent

Good afternoon,

Hope you are doing well. I was following this migration guide about Ethers 5, but I could not see the equivalent to Interface#encodeEventLog from ethers (maybe it was introduced in v6?).

Anyway, my question would be about what is the equivalent to that function and where I can find an example of it.

Is it that the opposite to decodeEventLog?

If yes, why is it not mentioned here?

This is what the ethers method does, looks like the part of extracting types and values and encoding them is missing in viem's method (as far as I see it just returns the topics).
