Spawnmob doesnt work at all

Mobspawner or the mob spawning in itself?

/spawnmob mobspawners seem to work fine but /mspawn doesnt change what it spawns.

/mspawn Chicken spawns chicken and the default mob (pig) , how do i remove them from spawning? :p pain in da' ass, and i can't even kill some of the mobs, have to relog

change it to slime? i dont think spawners can spawn slimes.
