Is your feature request related to a problem?

Sometimes, before an important call (or simply after changing your audio setup) it is desirable to test how it actually works.

Describe the solution you'd like

It would be great to have an option to test the audio input/output quality (and the internet connection quality) in a realistic environment.

Ideally, next to the "output device" and "input device" controls (in the app settings) there should be button to "call a bot" that would say "I would record 10 seconds after the beep and then play it to you".

Describe alternatives you've considered

Currently, the best thing user can do is to call a buddy (and bother him with this routine task).

You can just create a group chat with you in it and start a video call in there by yourself

@mx781 , this would not create a "bot" there that would say "I would record what you say after the beep and then play the recording to you, so that you can test your hardware", would it?

Sure, not quite that automatic, but you can hit "start recording" and play it back. I think that would be faithful to what an actual call would sound like.
