🚀 Feature Request

The MLM form (https://mlm-form.vercel.app/) is a user-friendly way to generate a STAC MLM definition.

It should be added as reference (README.md and CITATION.cff) to guide users that could employ it.

🔉 Motivation

  • increasing chances of MLM adoption
  • shared along the paper at SIGSPATIAL 2024

What's the value of adding it to CITATION.cff? Does it make it more discoverable? I don't mind if anyone does or does not cite their use of the form. Agree on adding it to the README.

Also I think the CITATION.cff isn't getting parsed correctly: https://github.com/stac-extensions/mlm/blob/main/CITATION.cff

I checked and it is valid according to this schema, maybe github uses a different version

→ cffconvert --validate
Citation metadata are valid according to schema version 1.2.0.

Yes, it makes it more discoverable.

Also, when go to https://github.com/stac-extensions/mlm/blob/main/CITATION.cff, GitHub can offer a quick export reference utility, and those can be cross-referenced by users in publications.

For now there is a parsing issue, but I already raised the issue on citation-file-format/ruby-cff#130 and there should be a fix soon.
