Beginners question #1
Comments
Hello Steve,
Indeed, a small error in the installation instructions (I corrected it in
the meanwhile, thank you for reporting). Also, you should execute the
procedure as root user (sudo -i), not as the ubuntu user, this will not
work.
You can comment out in the install.sh the docker installation if already
installed it, just add # on the docker installation lines.
KR,
Erwin

Hi sorry for the daft question.
But i have docker installed and running on ubuntu server on a raspberry pi
4.
So i tried installing this yesterday but your instructions didn't seem to
match up but somehow i managed to get it to start installing but then it
popped with a warning about already having docker installed and t press
Ctrl + C to cancel which i did as i didn't want to mess my docker up.
So now i've just tried this again and i can't work out how I'm meant to
install it.
Could you help me and also do you have any recommendations for guides to
follow as i don't know how to edit the file with my details afterwards.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply,
I'll try it again when I get home.
Could you just confirm which line of the install file I should edit out
for docker is it line 8 ?
I still want to install the docker compose as I've been meaning to try
that anyway.
