how do you run the emulator after u insert the initial code in linux (Ubuntu)

So I inserted the initial code (sudo apt-get install build-essential) thingy and it takes me to a menu to put some more code in what code do I insert in there

Sadly the guide doesn't help much on Linux for me, still running into the same issues on Mint. @Shimboot any luck on your end? Curious if you had any success since.
