Earth Network

Project Description
Earth Network is a decentralized platform designed to harmonize all aspects of the community. Built on the principles of sustainability and fairness, Earth Network distributes value across four foundational pillars: the Individual, Stakeholders, Collective Capital, and Human Interests. The platform operates on smart contracts that automate and equitably distribute 1 ERTH per second to each pillar. Every interaction within the network contributes to a balanced ecosystem, where the burning of ERTH tokens drives long-term value.

With roots deeply embedded in the Secret Network, Earth Network has evolved through continuous innovation and collaboration. Our journey reflects a commitment to creating a system that serves all life, expanding the reach of privacy-preserving decentralized governance to a global audience.

Problem / Solution
Today's economic systems often marginalize individual and collective human interests in favor of centralized capital. Additionally, most blockchain projects focus on speculative gains rather than integrating environmental and social goals.

Earth Network addresses these challenges by creating a decentralized platform where value is equitably distributed across four pillars:

  • Individuals: Supported through proof of humanity buybacks.
  • Stakeholders: Rewarded via ERTH staking.
  • Collective Human Interests: Funded through the Public Goods Fund, governed by a one-person, one-vote mechanism.
  • Collective Capital Interests: Backed by a deflation-focused fund that aligns with shared capital priorities.

This approach ensures that every transaction contributes to the sustainability of the ecosystem, driving value to all participants while addressing global resource allocation and environmental stewardship.

User Scenarios / Journey

  • Staking ERTH: Users stake ERTH tokens, earning rewards while supporting the platform’s deflationary goals.
  • Participating in Public Goods Projects: Community members distribute funds from the Public Goods Fund, which are distributed by equal voting weight.
  • Proof of Humanity: Individuals verify their identity to receive proof of humanity tokens, making them eligible for rewards.

Go-to-Market Plan
Earth Network targets the Secret Network community and a global audience interested in sustainable development, privacy, and decentralized governance.

Value Capture for Secret Network Ecosystem
Earth Network is a prime example of how privacy-preserving decentralized applications can address global challenges. Earth Network showcases the importance of privacy and decentralized governance, positioning Secret Network as a leader in sustainable blockchain solutions.

Team's Experience
The Earth Network team has a rich history of innovation within the Secret Network. With a deep understanding of the blockchain space and a commitment to sustainability, the team has developed impactful products for secret hackathons, built strong partnerships, and garnered the trust of the community.

Milestones:

  1. Develop core smart contracts on Secret Network (done).
  2. Build the web frontend to interact with smart contracts (done).
  3. Test and launch the MVP on Secret Network mainnet (in progress).

Funding Request
To sustain the development and growth of Earth Network, we are requesting $10,000 to set up a node that will provide ongoing support and resources for the network. This funding will be critical in maintaining and expanding the infrastructure necessary for the continued success of Earth Network, ensuring that the platform remains robust, secure, and accessible to a global audience.
