morseEncrypt is a simple JavaScript bookmarklet that converts any text in a textarea to morse code. If no textareas are present, the bookmarklet adds a small form in the upper right hand corner, where you can type your message, and convert it with the Encrypt button.
Uses for this bookmarklet:
- Show off nerd skills by answering a blog post in morse code
- Celebrating April 27th (Samuel F. B. Morse's birthday)
- Sending secret messages to your friends
Some sites use a div with contentEditable=true instead of a textarea, which is why the separate translation form was added. Also, the bookmarklet cannotmodify html enclosed in an iframe.
