Media Player Keys no longer working #665
Comments
same after installing latest MacOS update (10.13.4) |
Thanks for commenting, at least now I know it's just a conflict and I can stop my futile attempt to fix it! |
Works again today %) |
for me too! I wonder how it was fixed without an update. |
Still doesn't work for me. |
and, it just stopped working again! worked this morning and then all of a sudden not. what in the world?! |
And it's working again for me haha. |
Still not working :/ |
for me it starts and stops working several times a day. Thinking that it might depend on my usage, apps running or something, but I usually work with the same apps every day, can't really find any correlation. |
Not sure if it's just me but it's not just the media keys not working. when I right click the icon on the dock the play/pause, skip, previous, etc. commands don't work either. |
Removing the stored cookies helped in my case (Preferences --> Privacy). |
I just installed the app on a second macbook, default media key functionality seems spotty. The keys weren't working, so I then switched to the alternative method and restarted the app. Media keys then behaved weird (sometimes double-executing the action, as if I hit the button twice). So I disabled the alternative method, restarted the app again, and now media keys work... wth... |
I have tried removing cookies, the alternate method, and even uninstall / reinstall to no luck. Radiant is the only application running when this occurs. |
Has anyone figured out a work-around for this issue yet? I'm using Mojave 10.14.6 and am on the latest release of Radiant 1.12.0. I recently tried using BeardedSpice, but there does not appear to be support for Radiant (at least not yet). |
I have to go to the app to skip or rewind a track. Has worked fine until today. Have rebooted. Any ideas?
