Currently, when you attach extra peripherals to an SBC (such as a HAT), you'd need to put a matching DTB somewhere, which is very specific to your SoC, board, peripherals, and in cases of incompatible forks, even the kernel.
We want to bootstrap an app that would let you choose from a list of DTBs, or even compose one, which would be an enhancement. Let's call it boardcfg for now.
