Copied from [email protected]: I'm interested in using the "emissions_control_equipment_eia860" data; however, I'm having trouble finding it. To clarify, I have been accessing the data through the Zenodo Archives. I downloaded all the data and have been able to use the jupyter notebook to find some of the data. Looking at the tables available in the "pudl_db" file, there appear to be many missing compared to what is listed in the data dictionary on your website. For example, the "emissions_control_equipment_eia860" data. Is there additional data I need to download? I would use the Datasette interface that you all have provided, but I would like to download all the relevant data rather than 1,000 entries. |

Copied from [email protected]: There are several ways to access PUDL data, so it can be a bit confusing. If you want a fast way to get the "emissions_control_equipment_eia860" table in Excel, I recommend downloading it from Datasette. If you want more than 1000 rows, you'll need to click the "stream all rows" box at the base of this page. The full csv should be about 11.8 MB. Note that the cleaned version of the table is called "denorm_emissions_control_equipment_eia860" which might explain why you couldn't find it earlier. (Stay tuned for more table re-names in the not too distant future...don't worry, we'll have lots of documentation and we'll only do it once!) If you want to play with the data with pandas in a jupyter notebook, I recommend downloading the latest nightly build (click on PUDL SQlite DB) and accessing the table via SQL. |
