API of NLPmodels cons(nlp, x) can't work

When i try to get the constraints value at some point x, the following error was reported. AmplException("Error while evaluating constraints") How should i deal with it? What mistake i do? Thank you.

Hi @Hongy-Wang, can you share more of the problem? Your error comes from this lines:

https://github.com/JuliaSmoothOptimizers/AmplNLReader.jl/blob/aba5db39a5a5a8727d53098dcf68f9a02ada9819/src/ampl_model.jl#L279-L296

which means that the call to the underlying AMPL function had an error. Without more information of what you are trying to run and what is working vs what is not, we can't help you debug easily.

Thank you for your reply @abelsiqueira ! I try to provide more information now. When i run
using AmplNLWriter, AmplNLReader, NLPModels nlp = AmplModel("hda_scaled.nl") x = randn(nlp.meta.nvar) cons(nlp, x) ,
then there usually has the error
AmplException("Error while evaluating constraints") .
And there is another problem, when i run
using AmplNLWriter, AmplNLReader, NLPModels nlp = AmplModel("tsa_scaled.nl") grad(nlp, nlp.meta.x0),
there is no result and the program doesn't stop. By the way, the forward two files can be read by AmplModel() successfully. My questions maybe a little difficult to debug, but please share your ideas about some possible reasons.

@Hongy-Wang AmplNLWriter is not one of our packages. It's not necessary for your example.

Are you able to share hda_scaled.mod/hda_scaled.dat so we can try it out? If not, what is the value of nlp.meta.ncon?
