There are also quite some bugs in the Dashboards app, but in the Dashboards plugins of other components (like security, alerting). Are these tracked here as well?

@sandervandegeijn OpenSearch Dashboard bugs are tracked under the issues tab: https://github.com/opensearch-project/OpenSearch-Dashboards/issues

Other Plugin specific issues are tracked in their own repo. Is there something specific you are looking for?

I have filed some under the plugins, i.e:

#6490
opensearch-project/index-management-dashboards-plugin#946
opensearch-project/security-dashboards-plugin#1891
#6338
opensearch-project/alerting-dashboards-plugin#886
opensearch-project/dashboards-maps#573
opensearch-project/index-management-dashboards-plugin#964
opensearch-project/alerting#1354
opensearch-project/alerting-dashboards-plugin#760

But my issues are no more important than others. If you look through the plugin repos there are some that aren't that actively managed. Untriaged bugs, release issues for opensearch versions in the past, etc. But these plugins are shipped with opensearch by default and bugs in them will impact the Dashboards usability.

The individual issues are not my main concern, although some are quite annoying, but the triage/follow up process could be better. Doing this will impact implementation efforts on new things of course, so there's a tradeoff.
