Thank you for interest in translating Obsidian to Sanskrit. We try to follow this English-Sanskrit Computer Dictionary as the prime source. Please add any missing or controversial terms to this file to aid future decisions during Documentation or UI translation, creating a consistent experience.
Currently, Obsidian is in development and as new features are added so is more text, if you find a term that is not translated yet, feel free to name it. If you have to translate a word, keep that in mind since it can create some inconsistencies.
In doubt, feel free to ask our amazing community their opinion on the Discord (As of now, we have no dedicated #sanskrit channel yet, but do give a shoutout to @shubhamkumar(@varamsky on Github) in the #translations channel if you're interested).
Please DO NOT POLLUTE the Sanskrit documentation by merely re-writing the English word in the Devanagari script. Find a suitable Sanskrit word or else use the English word using the Latin script. You will find a few examples like "Obsidian इत्यनेन तान् देशीयरूपेण.." or ".trash सञ्चयः". As I couldn't find a suitable Sanskrit word for Obsidian I used it as-it-is instead of "ओब्सिडियन".
