It was nice to see to find a link to this sample on NVIDIA Developer portal.
This moment we're actively engaging in Vulkan migration from OpenGL ES for our AR apps development.
And you mentioned "The demo is available on launch day for Windows, Linux and Embedded (L4T) and will be available in the coming days for Android."
But I've not found this.
So, can you confirm that Android support is still in your plans. Or something changed?
Best,
Dzmitry

Hello, Tony,
Thank you for the answer!
We'd like to develop Vulkan-based apps on Magic Leap 2, so our main
intention is to find representative examples which could be built on " Android
Open Source Project (AOSP), Android 10 (Q) API level 29".
So if you have any instruction, tutorials how might it be done, I'd be
appreciated for that.
Thanks,
Dzmitry

It is up-to Google to decide if they want to allow Vulkan video on Android
or not. I guess this is based on the customer's interest in these
extensions. Currently, IHVs are disallowed to expose Vulkan video on
Android.
Please note that L4T is Linux-Ubuntu (not Android)-based. NVIDIA has plans
to release support for Vulkan video with L4T, but I'm not able to currently
disclose any plans for that. If you have any specific interests in L4T,
please send me an email with your required APIs (decode/encode/both) and
use case, and we may be able to provide pre-release Vulkan video drivers.
Thanks,
Tony
