  • Currently, only the active file is highlighted in VS Code's sidebar tree view. It would be helpful if all the open files could be highlighted, making it easier to locate them in the sidebar without relying solely on tabs or the "Open Editors" section.

  • This feature would improve navigation for users working with multiple open files and streamline multi-file workflows. I’ve tried custom color settings like list.inactiveSelectionBackground, but they only highlight the active file.
