I was more thinking to include possible icon in a standarized folder and not inside the actual file, so for ex: when runing escript.install the script lands in '.mix/escripts' folder and the optional icon in '.mix/icons' or a more suitable place. I think on unix it may be standarized but I would have to check it. |

Thanks. I just wanted to know your opinion on that.

I am not sure it is really the job of Mix to concern itself about the
distribution of icons, especially if it will require additional work anyway

also means figuring out how to provide the same on both Windows and Mac).

Hi - It may be not related strictly to livebook but as it is one of the rare
gui
apps in elixir I wanted to ask here you for your ideas:I want to create a shortcut for livebook installed with escript install on linux. I'm using asdf and it's not obvious where are the sources installed so any tutorial made with a path that points to the sources of livebook may be hard to reproduce.
My question is - maybe there is a way to include icons with escript so any future gui app will have it in the same place or at least have a way to drop the icon to the folder where the livebooks are saved but it would be better to standardize it somehow.
