Open a terminal, cd into that folder, and then run the script. Don't double click it and run it in the finder.

I haven't gotten a chance to actually run this yet, however is your iPhone unlocked, and iTunes isn't running?

These were instructions given to me ( make sure Xcode is set to your device and not a preloaded device, make sure you set it to 8.4 ISO so u can see your device at top left. make a new project and hit play at top left to sync your device with Xcode after that drag and drop stage0.sh and hit enter. Also when u download it just put the unzip file on desktop for easy access that how I did it and it ran through smooth

As any precaution when jailbreaking MAKE A FULL BACKUP OF YOUR iDEVICE THROUGH iTUNES!!!!

Make sure you have the following already completed:

• Have the latest yalu_master.zip from Luca's GitHub page.
• Your Mac has Xcode installed and is OPEN (start a new project)
• Your iDevice is plugged into your computer
• iTunes/Photos is closed
• On your iDevice, Find My iPhone is turned off
• On your iDevice, passcode is turned off

  1. Open Terminal (you can do so by using the search function in the menu bar above OR you can find your utilities folder in the /Library directory)

  2. Unzip "yalu_master.zip" if you haven't done so already.

  3. Find "stage0.sh" and drag the script into Terminal.

  4. Click on Terminal to enter the window and press enter.

  5. Your computer should be jailbreaking your device, let it run and finish the whole process.

(NOTE: some users have had troubles and getting stuck at "waiting for device..." even after they have everything turned off necessary. If you get to this point, make sure you have root access. It is okay to cancel the script so you may, if you choose, force quit Terminal and start it again. So to get root access, type "su" in Terminal and hit enter. By default the Root password is "Alpine" or "alpine". If it is neither, try your account password. If you still can't log in as root, try resetting the root password. [there are tutorials online])

  1. Once your device is done "jailbreaking" an icon that looks like this, will appear. Tap it once

  2. When you tap it your screen should go blue, then reboot.

  3. After it reboots tap the icon a second time and (IN THEORY) it should go black for 2-3 seconds then crash.

  4. If that happens, you have successfully jailbroken iOS 8.4.1.

(SECOND NOTE: if you did NOT get a black screen for 2-3 seconds after tapping the "jailbreak" app a second time, and instead crashes instantly, you must go back to your Mac, plus your iDevice back in, and re-run "stage0.sh". According to Luca, this jailbreak is based on probability. So it can take many tries or work the first time. Keep redoing all the steps until you get to where you tap the "jailbreak" app and it goes black 2-3 seconds and then crashes.)

  1. (I haven't gotten this far with the jailbreak) but once your screen does go black for the 2-3 seconds a second app should appear (I haven't gotten this far) and should have the option to install Cydia as a choice. Ask Luca lol, I honestly don't know but this is what he told me.

  2. enjoy fully jailbroken iOS 8.4.1!
