As part of the ongoing packaging work related to our project Retis, we also opened a review request for packaging derive-into-owned in Fedora as it is part of its dependencies (pcap-file's).
The MIT license requires that redistributed sources contain a copy of the license text. This also applies to crates distributed via crates.io and packages for linux distros.
The repository contains a LICENSE file, but the latest release doesn't include it, so a new one would be required.
