i have a bluesmart ip22 charger (24v/12A(1)).
i have connected an ttl/usb converter on the internal 6pin header and read this with 19200baud

This code is pretty specific to the BLE advertisement protocol and I don't think anything on the serial comm side is ever going to conform to the same format specification
