Warning

Please notice that the NOVAthesis template uses biber (and not bibtex) as the backend bibliography processor.

• If you use latexmk in the terminal, it will just work.
• If you compile your LaTeX source within a Text Editor (e.g., TexStudio, TextMaker, etc) you must open the Editor Preferences and change something somewhere (depends on the Editor) to use biber instead of bibtex.
