Eclipse has the ability to add dates, and formatted dates via variables using ${date}, ${d:date('yyyy-MM-dd')} and ${d:date('yy-MM-dd', 'de_DE')} however these are not supported by the copyright generator. Use of the ${date} variable returns no value.

I'm currently using the Copyright generator in the most recent version of Eclipse 2020-09 i.e 4.17.0

As a user I would want to have the ability to use the date variable of eclipse and format the date value in my copyright text.
