Would it be possible to add a feature for using equipment in a certain timeframe? For example, while an Arduino gets borrowed throughout the event and returned at the end of the day, 3D printing is a service that runs from a start time to an end time. It would be nice to be able to use this project to specify reserving equipment for a certain timeframe. That would allow us to tell people when their print would be ready by the latest and keep everything more organized.
Going off what Chris T of IEEE(that rhymes btw) suggested
This is a really cool idea. Obviously, it is not our priority but if we can apply a type of "smart checkout" that would check out items like 3D printers for a specified time until they finish printing. That printer would then show up as "available" after if finishes.
