In https://github.com/linux-3ds, we're working on porting Linux to the 3ds. We have a working kernel, bootloader, and some necessary firmware. I was going to write up some docs on how to build and/or simply run it, but https://3ds.hacks.guide/ was incredibly helpful to me, so I was wondering whether it would make sense to point folks to this project (once we have something more concrete/straightforward to run)?
If/when you get user-friendly instructions working, it might be neat to link at the end of Finalizing Setup. Not sure how practical it would be though (most of the other stuff has a practical reason to it, and I'm not sure if there are any practical applications to linux-3ds other than "it's really neat for people who want to run it"). A potential issue is that right now, the infoboxes kind of confuse people sometimes as a "hey do I need to do this?", so we should probably fix that before we add any more stuff.
