Can an agent proxy logs from other agents

So we need to deploy the agents in a large distributed environment with many remote locations. We need to reduce the number of egress routes to internet. One idea was setting up one dedicated agent which captures metrics/logs/traces from other systems and send it to backend. We can do it easily for metrics with central agent scraping other agents, traces too with OpenTelemetry directly sending to the central agent.

Is there an option for logs, where an agent can as target for promtail in the agent i.e. Agent A running on Host A scrapes few app logs, and sends it to Agent B on Host B which in tern send it to cloud?
