What happened?

A user is experiencing an issue where the cursor is often jumping to unexpected places (like the end of words or before slashes) in apps such as PureWriter, Discord, and Gmail, making editing difficult. Highlighted text isn't always removable with backspace, and autocorrect sometimes highlights random words or fails to update as the cursor moves.
