Add better handling of Cypress tests dependant of rc tag

Is your feature request related to a problem?

Issue:

when testing rc we need to disable some tests because they do not handle that flag (i.e: Check binaries, version related links and downloads from About menu).

We should implement some try/catch mechanism to handle this better.
