Enable Users to Specify Build Infrastructure When K8s Driver is Active
🎤 Pitch / Usecases
Problem:
In the current infrastructure, during multi-architecture builds using the Kubernetes (K8s) driver, certain applications require more CPU and memory. However, resources like CPU and memory are managed through a centralized ConfigMap. When resource limits are increased, they are applied globally, affecting all applications. This results in inefficient resource usage since not all applications require the same level of resources. Requirement:
There is a need for a build infrastructure profile that allows dynamic allocation and management of K8s driver resources (CPU, memory) on a per-application basis, rather than applying global changes.
