Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
It would be helpful if there was support for running the commands from a non-Windows host to a Windows host using PowerShell core.

I think it is almost there as-is, except for a few issues like $env:APPDATA in Set-DcnConfiguration, since so little is actually done locally.

Happy to work through any other issues on this front in a PR

We could try this out. I'm all for that.
The thing is though that the actions for creating all the images and clones rely on Windows functionality
