How to use custom tools in crewai for reading a pdf content

I wrote this custom tool with the intructions on how we create the crewai custom tools from the website. I'm not able to use the given file path

this is the error

I encountered an error while trying to use the tool. This was the error: File path/to/medical_records.pdf does not exist..
 Tool PDF Reader accepts these inputs: Tool Name: PDF Reader
Tool Arguments: {'pdf_path': {'description': None, 'type': 'str'}}
Tool Description: Reads the content of a pdf file and returns the text.
