[Bug] Harvest page going blank when you try to update fields #1009

Issue Type: Bug
Issue Description:

When on the harvest page, clicking in the first dropdown field and entering any text will cause the screen to go blank (white).

Using the drop-down menu (selecting a value from it) does not cause this problem, only manual entering of text into the field.

Steps to reproduce:

Go to harvest page
Click in the first dropdown field (where you select the type of component you want to harvest)
As soon as cursor is present, enter in any character (a single keystroke should do it)
Bam! you are teleported to a blank page.

Just to confirm this is still an issue.
