A Mouse click stops functioning hotkeys

In my demo the hotkeys work fine until you use mouse clicks.
If user clicks on the radio buttons using mouse then that point onward the hotkeys stop working.
If user clicks somewhere else on the page (outside radio buttons) then the hotkeys start working again.

I added class="mousetrap" and it worked.
