The only concern with Perhaps I can make it so you provide a "key" to the random function, and when the key changes, it evaluates to something else? So As @calpa mentions, you can use DataviewJS to already implement this, though I will see what I can do for Dataview queries. |

Has there been any further thought on this? I'm looking to have notes with multiple image references in the frontmatter and be able to randomly select which image to display, either on the note itself (which I think I can pull off inline with dice roller), but also via an overview dataview query... something like: --- ```dataview |

Hi! With this plugin, using obsidian has become more enjoyable. I would like to use it for learning other languages and generating dictionaries. For example, to display a random list of words. Something like:
LIST FROM #word WHERE status == "learning" RANDOM 3
Where
RANDOM 3
is the number of displayed random words from the entire list of links. But I haven't found an easy solution to this problem. This feature can be useful for lists of notes that are constantly changing status. Perhaps there is some working solution?Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
