The naming for the frontend should be descriptive and consistent with the one used in the backend

More descriptive: Core, App,...
The frontend being more consistent with the backend is excludes it from being more descriptive /s

@gwimm feel free to propose a better name for App and core as they are right now, that both retains the same "ahh, this is the main entry point" connotations and is more specific.

The key point about staying in sync with the backend terminology are the cases where there is defined terminology, I. E. Around carets, cursors as well as Portion vs. View vs. Viewport.
