It would be excellent to be able to trigger trivy from the CNCF project: Keptn.
This will most likely take the form of an integration with the quality gates functionality of Keptn where a quality evaluation is requested for a particular service. Trivy can then provide SLIs (metrics) around vulnerabilities and if their are too many vulnerabilities (as decided by the end-user), the metric fails.
If someone who knows trivy well wants to work on this, I've written other Keptn integrations so I know the Keptn side.
